The founders
Daniel Abittan, with his son Jonathan, founded Acuitis. Together, they have a single objective, to restore the coats of arms of optics, and to revive lost values: the love of fine work, fine craftsmanship, fine gestures, distinction, creativity, generosity and kindness at very very low prices.
The first Maison Acuitis
In this human adventure, Daniel Abittan and his son Jonathan, called upon their long life friends, their close guard for more than 30 years in the world of optical and hearing. The first Maison Acuitis thus was born in 2010 in Geneva. Since he became a grandfather, Daniel wished tocreate transgenerational living spaces to gather old and young people.
Our expertise
For Acuitis, we teamed up with Frédéric Beausoleil, a French Artist Optician who imagines and designs all of the brand’s optical, sun and hearing aid collections.
Frédéric Beausoleil was trained by an old craftsman in the tradition and the respect of handicraft values, for detailed finishes and beautiful pieces of work. He loves to work with materials of the highest grades.
With a preference for cellulose acetate and marquetry, to offer unique creations. It is with great meticulousness that he puts his entire technique and know-how into the conception and assembly of frames to propose Designer glasses accessible to everyone.
